Job Summary: The Web/SEO Analyst is responsible for optimizing website performance, managing SEO strategies, and ensuring accurate implementation of web content and styles. This role combines technical web maintenance with data-driven decision-making to improve search visibility, user experience, and conversion metrics. The position supports both client websites and the organization’s own web properties, leveraging analytics and SEO tools to deliver measurable results.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and traffic
- Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and on-page/off-page optimization
- Manage and update website content in WordPress, including styling and layout adjustments
- Monitor and analyze site performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools such as SEMrush
- Create actionable reports and insights for internal teams and clients based on data analysis
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to align web strategies with business goals
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to site performance and SEO compliance
- Maintain strong client relationships and communicate progress effectively
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools like SEMrush
- Experience with WordPress content management and basic stylesheet modifications (CSS)
- Familiarity with HTML and basic JavaScript; PHP knowledge is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
