Terminal Manager

Job Overview: Our intermodal client located in Laredo, TX is seeking to add a new Terminal Manager to their team. The Terminal Manager?is responsible for managing the fleet, customer success, and operations of the terminal. To be successful in the role of Terminal Manager, you must have intermodal experience, international and domestic experience, and leadership skills. 

This is a direct hire position. 

What you will be doing as a Terminal Manager:

• Provide leadership for the fleet, customer success and operations team members
• Develop new business
• Grow and expand opportunities through relationship building with the current customer base
• Coaching and facilitating excellent communication and teamwork amongst Customer Service, Fleet and Operations Management

Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Terminal Manager:

• 3-5 years of management experience in the intermodal transportation industry
• International and domestic experience
• Strong service performance, leadership, and customer satisfaction skills
• A high degree of integrity and initiative who is a go-getter
• Excellent management, communication, relationship building, and networking skills
• Strong and proven operations background
• Computer skills are critical and must include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
