Technical Project Engineer

Job Overview: Technical Project Engineer plays a pivotal role in optimizing machine equipment performance through time studies, material flow analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a Direct Hire role.

• Creating and executing project plans, serving as a point of contact, and collaborating with other departments.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and financial targets.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of molding processes to optimize designs for manufacturability and efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and support to design and manufacturing teams.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new projects.
• Implement and maintain quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and address quality issues during production.
• Collaborate closely with customers, providing updates and managing feedback.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 1-3 years of experience.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Minitab statistical analysis software.
• Experience with CAD 3D and Solidworks.
• Knowledge of basic part print and GD&T.
• Interest or understanding of the automotive manufacturing industry.
• Internship or work experience in casting, CNC machining, tooling, or molding a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Interpersonal skills for effective team building.
• Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing business procedures.
