Senior Automation Engineer - Join client's Cutting-Edge Automation Team

As we pursue this vision, we are looking for a dedicated Senior Automation Engineer to become a key member of our Automation Team. You will play a crucial role in driving automation projects to success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Expertise:

  • Utilize your expertise in programming and configuring programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and human-machine interface (HMI) systems for industrial process control and monitoring.
  • Design and execute industrial automation projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, productivity, and quality for our clients.
  • Demonstrate onsite independence, overseeing team members to carry out project checkout and testing across projects of varying complexity.
  • Complete and delegate programming tasks in alignment with process narratives and client specifications.
  • Showcase high proficiency in programming processes, including sequence control and system operation for process control.
  • Communicate effectively and coordinate seamlessly within intricate subcontractor, contractor, and client relationships.
  • Offer technical support to clients during commissioning and post-project stages.
  • Interpret process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) to identify individual I/O components and process systems for programming execution.
  • Develop and maintain custom PLC and HMI objects and displays for streamlined automation program creation.

2. Achieving Objectives:

  • Keep your programming skills sharp by staying current with the latest developments in PLC programming and HMI technology.
  • Establish and maintain a structured approach to troubleshooting, including diagnosing issues, analyzing root causes, and implementing effective resolutions.
  • Articulate your programming vision and provide essential tools to team members to ensure the accurate and timely completion of project deliverables.
  • Engage in industry webinars and conferences to broaden your knowledge base and share insights with your peers.
  • Cultivate a deeper understanding of various automation components, protocols, and systems utilized in the industry, spanning multiple PLC and HMI platforms.
  • Maintain a high level of motivation and inspire others to complete project tasks.
  • Collaborate effectively with project teams to ensure the overall success of each project.
  • Travel to client sites and actively engage in physical tasks to implement, test, and commission automation systems.
