Position: Software Developer (Direct Hire)

Position Summary:

Join our clients dynamic Applications Development team within the Information Technology department. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for coding, designing, modifying, and testing computer programs. You will utilize your strong skills and extensive knowledge across various technical disciplines and business solutions to contribute to our innovative projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Development & Design: Work independently or collaborate with Team Leaders to create specifications, design, and develop solutions that meet customer needs.
• Mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to Software Developers, ensuring team cohesion.
• Consultation: Engage with internal and external customers to define application requirements, specifications, and design information-processing procedures.
• Application Performance: Ensure applications remain up and performant, troubleshooting issues by analyzing program logic.
• Issue Resolution: Lead or actively participate in resolving technical issues.
• Programming: Write, test, and debug complex programs.
• Testing & Documentation: Prepare and review complex test data; document program information and procedures.
• Additional Duties: Perform other programming duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Technical Proficiency:
  • Systems analysis, design, and programming
  • Coding (C#, VB.Net, VB6)
  • Database systems and query writing (SQL, Oracle, DB2)
  • Website development and programming (ASP, MVC)
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
• Skills:
  • Requirements gathering, analyzing feasibility, designing, and recommending solutions
  • Identifying and resolving complex issues
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project lifecycles
  • Self-development and adoption of new technical skills
  • Prioritizing large workloads with a sense of urgency
  • Exercising independent judgment and decision-making
  • Effective communication with internal and external customers
• Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to provide rotating on-call support for production systems
