Senior Project Manager – Water/Wastewater

Minimum Experience: 10 years

Education: B.S. in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering (ABET Accredited)

Registration: Professional Engineer (PE)

Join an established and respected A/E firm where collaboration and employee input are valued. Our Client is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Water/Wastewater to support their growing operations in Orlando, Florida.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Senior Project Manager and/or technical subject matter expert for key water/wastewater clients and projects in the Orlando area.

  • Partner with leadership to identify opportunities and manage projects using both traditional and alternative delivery methods.

  • Support business development efforts, including the preparation of Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) and participation in client interviews.

  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior design staff.

  • Oversee project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes within budget and on schedule.

  • Foster strong relationships with current and prospective clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited program in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering (or equivalent).

  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the State of Florida, or the ability to obtain via reciprocity.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering.

  • Prior experience managing engineering projects.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required; experience with Bluebeam and Revit is a plus.

  • DBIA certification and familiarity with Design-Build project delivery is a plus.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment.

  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and utilize virtual collaboration tools.
