Senior Application Developer - Hybrid Opportunity 


  • Direct hire, permanent position
  • Pay Rate: Flexible base salary, based on experience
  • Shift Time: 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday
  • Job Location: Hybrid in either Oskaloosa or Muscatine, IA


  • Experience with .NET, REST endpoints, and APIs
  • Updating UI from Windows 95 to .NET (likely Blazer)
  • Desire to work in old code and new code
  • Most of the integrations and systems they’d be working in are proprietary.
  • “Working developer”- handles the requirement gathering, BA, and testing; not just writing code
  • Willingness to mentor other developers
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science-related field, Engineering field, and/or commensurate experience
  • Effective experience with computer programming languages and development of software
  • 6+ years of software development experience in a work environment and/or demonstrated aptitude
  • Aptitude to lead projects while performing programming
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Thrive in a team environment while working with self-directedness
  • Ability to work in a confidential manner with data
  • May answer occasional calls during non-work hours as part of troubleshooting. In the rare event of an emergency, may be required to come to the office unexpectedly or log in remotely


  • Working in old legacy code as well as new development. Work as both QA and BA as you will need to monitor your own work and gather requirements from end users
  • Analyze information requirements and determine an action plan
  • Write, test, and debug computer software
  • Access and report data as necessary
  • Assist in the development of project schedules
  • Execute project schedules
  • Ensure installed software systems are properly maintained
  • Provide timely end-user support as needed
