Salesforce Developer - REMOTE

This is a Contract role.

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Experience Cloud Developer with 3 to 6 years of experience to design, develop, and implement scalable Experience Cloud solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring in-depth expertise in Salesforce Experience Cloud (formerly Community Cloud) along with hands-on experience in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, and integration techniques.
This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions, all while adhering to best practices and ensuring optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Experience Cloud Development & Customization

- Design and develop custom Experience Cloud solutions using LWC, Apex, Visualforce, and Flows.
- Create and manage Experience Cloud themes, branding, and navigation.
- Build and optimize declarative automation using Flows, Process Builder, and Validation Rules.
- Integrate Salesforce Experience Cloud with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi), and Salesforce Connect.

2. Collaboration & Technical Leadership

- Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and UX/UI designers to gather and refine requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor junior developers, including code reviews and best practice sessions.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators to enhance platform performance, security, and governance.

3. Testing & Deployment

- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments using tools such as Copado, Gearset, or Git-based workflows.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT processes.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and data integrity requirements.

4. Post-Go-Live Support & Continuous Improvement

- Provide post-deployment support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize existing Experience Cloud implementations.
- Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, recommending new features or improvements to existing processes.
- Identify opportunities for automation, performance enhancement, and improved user experience.

Required Skills

- Salesforce Experience Cloud (Community Cloud) – Minimum 2 years of hands-on implementation experience.
- Strong development skills in Apex, LWC, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Expertise in Salesforce APIs & Integrations including REST/SOAP, OAuth, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Experience with declarative customizations (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules).
- Familiarity with CI/CD & DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, or GitHub (experience with at least 2 of these).
- Solid understanding of Salesforce security features including Profiles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams.
- Exposure to other Salesforce Clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) is preferred.

Certifications (Preferred)

- Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud Consultant
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I

Nice to Have

- Experience with middleware tools such as Mulesoft, Boomi, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Connect and external data sources.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and adapt in fast-paced environments.
