Plant Manager

Seeking a Plant Manager for key role within the  Foundry industry. Plant Manager is responsible for for achieving High quality production, Increased sales, and sustained growth at the divisional level. The successful candidate in this role of Plant Manager, must have 4-year college degree, in related degree field desired along with 5-10 years of manufacturing management experience in the die cast manufacturing industry preferred.

This is a Direct Hire role.

Responsibilities as a Plant Manager …

?Lead and direct plant management staff to complete items on divisional quality plan.

?Responsible for controlling costs against projected monthly targets.
Plan tasks and actions to support the overall achievement of the business plan goals and objectives.

?Responsible to spend time circulating on the shop floor with all associates, fostering communications and team spirit.

?Direct all daily/weekly plant performance review meetings. Identify opportunities for improvement and instituting applicable reactions.

?Expected to maintain the highest level of professional character in dealing with internal and external needs.

Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Plant Manager …

?Bachelors degree in related degree.

?5-10 years of manufacturing management in the die cast industry preferred.

?Knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting and P&L experience.

?Working knowledge of kaizen, visual workplace 6-s, Kan-ban.

Hours you will be work as a Plant Manager 

Day shift, Monday through Friday

Compensation you will receive as a Plant Manager :

?$150K+ Salary & Bonus eligible
