Plant Controller
Our client is seeking a Plant Controller for their facility near Norton Shores, MI. The Controller assists in the managing of the Finance function of Plant Operations.  

Relocation assistance is possible if needed. 

To be successful in this role you must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance, 5+ years of progressive cost accounting and analysis experience preferably with a major manufacturing organization, and ideally have 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (But not limited to…)

• Maintenance of accounting general ledger
• Preparation of financial and management reports
• Analysis and review of financial performance including metric reporting.
• Maintenance and analysis of standard inventory costs
• Analysis and preparation of annual capital budgets and spending toward those budgets
• Analysis and preparation of annual operating budgets along with variance analysis
• Preparation and variance analysis for monthly operating forecasts
• Assist in customer credit and collections.
• Management of clerical accounting staff
• Maintenance of internal controls and segregation of duties

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive cost accounting and analysis experience preferably with a major manufacturing organization.
• Strong analytical skills are required to quickly grasp issues impacting the plant’s financial results.

Compensation you will receive as a Plant Controller:

• $99,000 - $120,000
