National Elevator Manager

Job Overview: Our client located in Plano, TX is seeking to add a National Elevator Manager to their team. The National Elevator Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the performance and life span of elevator systems across all of their properties. This role will be crucial in developing and implementing a robust maintenance program that minimizes repair costs and enhances equipment longevity.

This is a Direct Hire role.

• Lead the management of elevator assets, ensuring top-tier performance and extended service life.
  
• Design and execute a comprehensive maintenance program tailored to reduce elevator downtime and expenses. 
  
• Utilize data analytics to monitor performance trends and proactively address potential issues.
  
• Oversee inspections and manage compliance to prevent citations and operational disruptions.
  
• Conduct field assessments to validate the necessity of significant elevator modernizations.
• Develop detailed specifications, scopes of work, and budgets, while supervising design projects.
• Ensure adherence to local regulations and streamline project approval processes.
• Apply value engineering techniques to enhance cost-effectiveness and system performance.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors, including negotiating contracts and overseeing project execution from initiation to completion.
• Standardize procedures for effective elevator system management across the portfolio.
• Stay updated on and recommend innovative products and technologies for elevator management.
• Provide emergency support for critical elevator issues.
• Support acquisition due diligence and facilitate seamless property transitions.
• Maintain clear and proactive communication with property managers and team members.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, or similar preferred
  
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the elevator industry
  
• In-depth knowledge of hydraulic and traction elevator systems
  
• Hands-on field experience is highly desired
  
• NAEC Certified Elevator Technician (CET) or NAESA Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI) certification preferred
• Strong self-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
