Mobile Lab Tech

Overview: Our engineering client is seeking a detail-oriented Mobile Lab Technician to join their team in the Anoka/Minneapolis area. In this role, you’ll be responsible for traveling to various sites to collect and analyze samples for asbestos, mold, and lead. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in environmental testing, strong knowledge of industry regulations, and excellent communication skills.

This is a direct hire position. 

What you will be doing as a Mobile Lab Tech… 

• Travel to client sites to collect samples for asbestos, mold, and lead testing.

• Follow established protocols and use proper equipment for sample collection.

• Conduct on-site testing using approved laboratory methods and tools.

• Assess buildings and structures to identify potential environmental hazards.

• Prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings, test results, and recommendations.

• Communicate results and next steps clearly to clients and stakeholders.

Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Mobile Lab Tech… 

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field preferred.

• Certifications in asbestos, mold, and lead testing strongly preferred.

• Proven experience in field or laboratory testing for environmental hazards.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

• Willingness to travel regularly within the region and work flexible hours as needed.
