Manufacturing Supervisor $75,000 +/- BOE

Job Overview: Our client, located in Latrobe, PA , is seeking to add a new Manufacturing Supervisor to their team. If you want to be a part of a team that is a global leader in die cast manufacturing this opportunity may be for you! If you have the ability to ensure that each team member has what they need daily, and provide guidance on production objectives and continuous improvement, I want to talk to you !

What you will be doing as a Manufacturing Supervisor…

• Directs the work of others, spanning several operational areas.
• Ability to work 2nd shift  (2PM - 10PM)
• Assists Area Manager by identifying work procedures, preparing work schedules, and expediting
  workflow.
• Issues written and oral instructions to Area Leaders.
• Attend daily production meeting to review current order status, any issues and/or changes that are
  required, known downtime or quality issues and report out on project status
• Monitor training plans for each individual and meets monthly to review progress, removes roadblocks
  to ensure continued growth and development. Regularly reviews Competency Based Training (CBT) for
  assigned associates
• Perform process analysis and drive efforts for predicative and preventative process measures. 

Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Manufacturing Supervisor…

• Bachelor's Degree or higher 
• 1-2 years’ manufacturing leadership experience
• Previous experience working with ERP Databases (Odyssey)
• Experience driving change initiatives 
• Experience with leading multiple teams

Things that will differentiate you as a Manufacturing Supervisor…

• 3+ years manufacturing leadership experience
• Previous experience applying or using 5S, Standard Work, Problem Solving and Value Stream Mapping, is
  strongly desired.
• Die Cast experience highly desired
