Job Description: As a Lead Welder, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing welding operations on the 2nd shift. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading a team of welders and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Setting up welding equipment and selecting proper materials.
• Performing welding operations using various techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC).
• Conducting quality inspections and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborating with production supervisors to meet production goals.
• Training and mentoring junior welders.
• Troubleshooting and resolving welding-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Welder in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong knowledge of welding equipment and materials.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Welding certification or relevant vocational training.
• Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
