If you're ready to take on a leadership role in the challenging field of low voltage cabling, we want to hear from you! We are searching for a Lead Installation Technician with intermediate-level experience in low voltage cabling. In this position, you will bridge the gap between the Installation Technicians and the Foreman, providing technical expertise, guidance, and support to ensure successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Foreman in leading a team of Installation Technicians in various low voltage cabling tasks.
• Utilize your technical expertise to perform tasks such as pulling cable, terminating CAT5 or CAT6, dressing and distributing frames, patching, and working with fiber optics.
• Support the team by providing guidance on proper installation practices according to industry standards and project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC standards to uphold high-quality workmanship.
• Collaborate with the Foreman to coordinate conduit running and cable bending activities, utilizing digital multi-meters for testing purposes.

Requirements:

• Intermediate experience in low voltage cabling, network cabling, and fiber optic installation.
• Demonstrated ability to perform tasks typically assigned to Installation Technicians.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC.
• Proficiency in pulling cable, terminating connectors, and splicing fiber optics.
• Ability to read and interpret schematic and line diagrams accurately.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Certification in relevant areas is a plus.
