Lab Test Technician- Electrical

Laboratory Test Technician 

Job Overview: Our Rochester Hills client is seeking to add a new Lab Test Tech to their team. The Lab Tech Technician?is responsible for product testing. To be successful in the role of Lab Test Technician you must have experience in a laboratory testing environment or related experience.

This is a direct hire position.

What you will be doing as a Lab Tech …

• Write user manuals and wiring diagrams/schematics
• Update current systems wiring schematics
• Support equipment build through purchasing components
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose faults in the systems
• Keeps a neat and organized workstation for safety and efficiency, 100% of the time
• Ensuring Software quality through unit and integration testing before internal delivery to the test team.
• Assists in cross function training with other laboratory technicians.

Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Lab Tech…. 

• Minimum of 2 years experience wiring electrical control panels and equipment
• Associate degree in an electrical/technical field preferred.
• Working knowledge of instrument control software programming, such as LabView
• Experience in validating new equipment and fixtures capability, repeatability, and capacity prior to commission the test system to the Lab area.
• Basic computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Motivated, team player.
• Goal driven individual.
