Infrastructure Administrator

Job Overview: Our Cedar Rapids client is actively seeking an Infrastructure Administrator to join the team in Cedar Rapids, IA. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit. This role requires the ability to work autonomously as well as within a team, with a willingness to continually learn and contribute to the success of the entire office.

This is a Direct Hire role.

• Coordinate remotely with our I.T. teams in Texas and Missouri.
• Utilize VMWare to create, configure, and manage virtual machines.
• Assist in the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of workstation computers and servers.
• Manage local network infrastructure, encompassing hardware, DNS, and resolving technical issues.
• Install and configure workstations with necessary peripherals such as routers and printers.
• Plan and execute upgrades and maintenance activities with minimal disruption to workflow.
• Conduct diagnostic tests and perform troubleshooting to resolve hardware and software issues.
• Identify and address computer or network equipment shortages.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in various computer systems and network environments.
