Fitter- Welder 2nd Shift

Open table Fit-Up. Experience with large parts and heavy plate manufacturing. Solid Wire or Flux Core Experience Fluxcore 3/32 or Solidwire 0.45 or 0.52. Must know weld symbols and basic blueprint reading

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

(Including the following, however, additional duties may apply as required)

• Read and comprehend welding instructions and structural drawings
• Verifies correct quantity and quality of parts welded
• Layout stitch welds; locations of weld and weld size for welders
• Work from drawings, patterns, fixtures and specifications
• Perform cleaning, assembly, and straightening operations as directed by Supervision
• May be required to perform the following welding processes: GMAW, Flux, Sub Arc, etc.
• Ability to come to work on a consistent basis

Education and Experience

• A minimum of two years (2) experience as an open table Fitter
• Strong blueprint reading and math skills required
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Heavy manufacturing in a job shop environment a plus

• Pay range up to $28/hr based on Weld Test Results
• Direct Hire
