Engineering Technician Programmer

Our Benson, MN client is seeking to add an Engineering Technician Programmer to their team. The main responsibility of the ETP is to create, document, develop and implement procedures required to assemble, test, process, and manufacture roto-molded products.

This is a Direct Hire role.

• Responsible for the proper utilization of company owned CNC manufacturing equipment
• Develop, evaluate, improve and document manufacturing processes
• Develop and implement process control techniques and procedures into our manufacturing environment
• Analyze process flows for continuous enhancements of quality, cost reduction and throughput
• Collaborate with design engineering regarding product tooling and design to ensure effective production methods
• Confer with vendors in determining product specifications and arranging equipment parts or material purchases
• Create and maintain accurate documentation of fixture drawings, and design concepts.
• Work closely with production department to develop, coordinate, and implement technical training for employees
• Provide engineering support in production department to trouble shoot and resolve technical problems
• Coordinate work with tool room personnel, assigned technicians, and outside vendors.
• Work closely with HR and Management on safety initiatives for the facility
• Other duties assigned on a daily basis

• Bachelors degree in a manufacturing or engineering related field.
• Knowledge of manufacturing concepts
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects
• Bilingual is a plus
