Position: SAP Enterprise Architect, Application Engineering (San Jose, CA)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Enterprise Architect, Application Engineering to drive high-impact ERP initiatives by leading cross-functional teams and aligning IT with business operations. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of end-to-end ERP processes—particularly Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay—and a proven ability to manage stakeholders, vendors, and system integrations.

You will work across internal business units, IT, and external partners to ensure seamless ERP implementation, process innovation, user adoption, and long-term value delivery.

This is a contract role.

• Lead cross-functional teams composed of senior managers, employees, SAP consultants, and external vendors to execute ERP projects successfully.

• Drive collaboration between IT, business units, and external partners to ensure seamless integration and strong user adoption.

• Spearhead Process Innovation (PI) initiatives to improve operational efficiency and system performance.

• Coordinate system configuration, process mapping, and data governance efforts.

• Communicate directly with customers and internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into ERP solutions.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in ERP or related IT/business systems roles.

Technical & Functional Skills:

• Proven expertise in Order-to-Cash (SD, LE, MM) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.

• Strong understanding of business processes, including:

  • Billing & Invoicing

  • Compliance & Tax

  • Customer & Order Management

  • Master Data & Inventory Management

  • RMA & Logistics

  • Reporting & Analytics

• Working knowledge of FI/CO sufficient to collaborate from a business/system operations perspective.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • ERP system configuration

  • Process mapping

  • Data governance

  • ERP reporting & analytics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with:

  • SAP S/4HANA, Fiori/UI5

  • SAP TM (Transportation Management), SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)

  • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or BW/4HANA

  • Sales-related systems such as Salesforce

• Proven track record in:

  • Project execution

  • Vendor management

  • Stakeholder engagement

  • Leading cross-functional collaborations

Soft Skills:

• Fluent in Korean.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders.

• Proactive problem-solver with a focus on driving results and innovation.
