Electrical Project Manager (Victoria, TX)
Job Overview: Our client is seeking a qualified professional for an Electrical Project Manager. The Electrical Project Manager will support the capital projects group and site operations activities with electrical engineering principles, expertise, leadership in solving and improving the equipment, processes, and procedures at the site.
This is a Direct-Hire role.
What you will be doing as a Electrical Project Manager (Victoria)…

Provide project management and electrical engineering with focus on Low /Medium / High voltage equipment and systems for the site
infrastructure. This will include equipment and infrastructure troubleshooting, replacement, design improvements, technological standardization and innovation, maintenance strategies, and optimization opportunities.

Involvement includes project scope development, project estimating, project review, project management, design, and implementation.

Develop project scopes and estimates, write equipment specifications, review quotes and recommend equipment and materials, size cables, conduit, starters, VFDs, and power distribution equipment.

Work will involve managing project specific third-party design and construction contractors, schedules, scope development and control, budgets, checkout, commissioning, start-up, and other engineering/management activities as required.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering

5 years Electrical engineering experience in a Chemical Plant, Refinery, or
heavy industrial facility

Ability to interpret electrical system one-line drawings and schematics.

1+ year of project management experience
