This position is designed for those with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and some relevant industry experience. As an Electrical Engineer II, you'll play a crucial role in developing electrical system designs for new products and enhancing existing ones, using your engineering acumen to make informed design decisions.

 Position Overview:

  • Level: Intermediate

 Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical components and assemblies in Altium, aligning with product requirements.
  • Prepare and review PCBA layout drawings in Altium, including tolerance analysis.
  • Manage PCBA layouts, drawings, and sub-systems through the PLM system.
  • Collaborate in R&D projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
  • Conduct tests, analyze data, and create reports to validate design and process efficacy.
  • Focus on the manufacturability of electrical systems and sub-systems.
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing principles and assembly procedures.
  • Utilize technical documentation effectively to support product design and operations.
  • Offer technical support to suppliers and assist in resolving manufacturing issues.
  • Perform analyses using MultiSIM, Proteus, CircuitLOGIX, XSPICE, and other simulation tools.
  • Participate actively in the Sig Sauer NPI (New Product Introduction) process.
  • Engage in Continuous Improvement projects and uphold 5S Standards.
  • Adhere to Safety and ISO procedures.
  • Travel occasionally as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
  • Proficiency in Altium, LabView, Arduino, Visual Studio, and C/C++.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Practical experience in electrical engineering design.
  • Ability to understand technical instructions in various formats.
  • Knowledge of supplier capabilities and PCBA manufacturing processes.
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to draw valid conclusions and execute solutions.
  • Experience with firearms is an added advantage.
  • Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
