Electrical Assembler III

Job Overview: Our client, located in Germantown, WI, is seeking to add a new Electrical Assembler to their team. If you want to be a part of a team that has a superior reputation for designing and producing custom systems to meet specific manufacturing needs then this opportunity may be for you! If you have the ability to perform wiring and assembly operations required for machinery and integrated systems involving the connection on intricate parts, I want to talk to you !

 

What you will be doing as a Electrical Assembler…

  • Assemble of parts, weldments, & subassemblies per engineering
    specifications in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Read and interpreting electrical & pneumatics prints to determine procedures and assembly sequences
  • Exercise logic to identify problems, alternative solutions, and best approaches to eliminate assembly problems.
  • Have the ability to work alone
  • Tasks will also include the layout, wiring, and general building
    of electrical panels along with troubleshooting the panels with appropriate measurement equipment such as a multimeter

Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Electrical Assembler…

  • High School Diploma
  • 3 years’ experience demonstrating broad understanding of wiring machinery and electrical panels
  • Must have solid grasp of electrical principles and wiring practices along with mechanical aptitude. Must
    be able to read blue prints, interpret electrical symbols, understand various operating, maintenance, and procedure
    manuals, and use various precision measuring \ testing equipment to validate and troubleshoot your work
  • Must be familiar with & safely operate portable power tool and machine tools such as mill, drill press, band saw, cut-off saw and grinder.

Things that will differentiate you as a Mechanical Assembler…

  • Associates degree in automation or another electrical field
  • Basic understanding of G.D.&T
  • Previous experience and training with PLC logic/programming, robotics, welding (MIG or resistance) are beneficial but not required.
