Customer Support Generalist

Job Overview: Our client located near the Quad Cities, is seeking to add a NEW Customer Support Generalist to their team. Customer Support Generalist is responsible for supporting a cross functional team with continuous improvement in a modernized order to cash system. To be successful in the role, you must have an understanding of Order to Cash best practices , experience in an ERP order to cash systems, and ability to mange customer financing and on-line payment portal.

 

This is a Direct Hire role.


What you will be doing as a Customer Support Generalist

  • Optimize the organizations end to end Order to Cash processes
  • Innovates through development and configuration of standardized workflow within a new software solution
  • Monitors files for accuracy
  • Work cross functionally to manage inventory projections and allocations
  • Analyze documents received from customers, district sales manager and seed reps for data accuracy and follow up on received documents for processing.
  • Prepare final customers statements including all adjustments and credits allowed
  • Prepare and review customer billings and assist the sales team with pricing and inventory fulfillment questions.
  • Respond to calls from customers, sales reps and district sales managers to answer and assist in solving problems and helping market the company’s products and services.
Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Customer Support Generalist
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field
  • Five (5) years of experience in an ERP order to cash system supporting a sales team with billing and inventory fulfillment experience.
  • Ability to work within an environment of change
  • General understanding of information technology systems.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitor detailed work to ensure quality
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong comprehension of spreadsheet and word processing software
