Job Description

Saige Partners has partnered up with a growing, first class, medical device manufacturing facility in the Denver, CO area who are looking for multiple experienced Controls Engineers. These engineers will be put into a position to grow his/her career into other stages while serving their team, mentoring and leading them.

Purpose of the Job / Role
• Contribute to the proper design of control systems
• Program the control system and test using processes and rules
• Participant in debug phases as required to meet the contracted functionality of the customer’s system within budget and schedule constraints
• Support goals, values, and operating principles

Main Responsibilities/Critical Tasks
• Demonstrate knowledge of control system design methods
• Demonstrate knowledge of standard materials and practices
• Attend Project Design reviews
• Support Validation team to test validation package per customer’s specifications
• Demonstrate knowledge of PLC programming methods for integration of machine Vision systems
• Demonstrate methods for completion of the Software Design Specification
• Demonstrate knowledge of the ERP system and tracking delivery dates
• Demonstrate knowledge of the controls system assembly start package
• Complete the Software Design Specification with input from Mechanical Engineering
• Participate in debug activities on the floor, including the support of PLC Technicians assigned to the debug
• Responsible for accurately and timely generation of the Controls Engineering documentation package assigned to each customer project

Strategic Priorities
• Pass interview and technical test
• In addition to the Controls Engineering Manager and Deputy, take direction from Project Controls Engineers and Controls Engineer Level III
• Controls design and debug of equipment
• Follow all safety policies and precautions
• Additional responsibilities of the Controls Engineer Level III and above, may be performed as requested by the Controls Engineering Manager or Deputy
• Demonstrate punctuality and preparedness for meetings
• Support the improvement of Quality systems
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Controls Engineering Manager

Compliance
• Must follow all company's and customer policies and procedures

Education Requirements
• Bachelor of Science degree, or internationally recognized equivalent
• Experienced in a relevant field or 5 years of relevant working experience with clear aptitude in core skills and competencies
