Compliance & Quality Control Specialist

The Compliance and Quality Control Specialist ensures the credit union's adherence to regulatory requirements through regular audits and verifications. They actively monitor and address fraud activities, aiming to minimize risk and support staff in compliance and fraud-related matters. This role entails managing disputes, monitoring transactions, and engaging with members to maintain account integrity.

This is a Direct Hire 

• Monitor OFAC/FinCen compliance and oversee Verafin FRAML software.
• File CTR and SAR documents accurately and promptly.
• Investigate fraudulent checks, wires, and uncollected deposits.
• Manage changes to members' Digital Banking Logins.
• Facilitate closure of deceased member accounts.
• Handle Safe Deposit box billing and collection.
• Assist in additional CIP verification for employees.
• Conduct investigations into fraudulent activities to minimize organizational losses.
• Educate employees on identifying and responding to fraud.
• Timely processing of disputes and addressing member inquiries on fraudulent activity.
• Aid members in error resolution, fraud prevention, and tracking.
• Analyze card profiles to generate reports for leadership on fraudulent activities.
• Maintain records of compliance documentation.
• Maintain open communication with supervisors, set goals, and strive for excellence.
