Looking for a new opportunity in HVAC commercial project management? We've got you covered! Our Central Iowa-based company is seeking a talented and experienced Commercial HVAC Project Manager to join our team on a full-time, direct-hire basis.

As our ideal candidate, you'll have at least 4 years of commercial HVAC job site experience and a background in commercial project management. You'll be responsible for overseeing every aspect of the project, from planning and scheduling to resource allocation and cost control. You'll provide technical guidance to our team and ensure compliance with quality standards.

In this dynamic role, you'll plan and coordinate construction and maintenance activities for a variety of structures, facilities, and systems. You'll work closely with craft supervisors, workers, and other stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with General Contractors, Building Owners, and other Subcontractors to discuss project status and next steps
• Plan the job with in-house team members to ensure all contract requirements are met
• Organize and maintain all necessary functions for successful project completion, including performance bonds, insurance, permits, estimates, accounting duties, and more
• Effectively handle large crews and coordinate with other departments as needed
• Ensure workplace safety requirements are met
• Ability to handle multiple jobs at once and plan/schedule to avoid delays

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in commercial project management
• Journeyman License preferred
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Construction Management, or prior hands-on commercial HVAC experience
• Proven track record of bringing projects in on time and under budget
• Prior HVAC experience/knowledge required
• Utilize extensive experience and judgment to accomplish goals
• Creativity and latitude are expected

Compensation will start at base salary of $80,000 +/- plus full benefits package including health insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, holiday pay, vacation pay, and a 401k retirement plan
