Description
This position is the head of the department with overall responsibility to lead the teams to ensure efficient and timely production with a high-quality standard while promoting and maintaining a safe work environment and also driving performance to achieve or exceed financial and strategic goals while motivating the personnel to create a high-performance culture. This position also ensures employee compliance with policies, practices, and core values.

Duties and Accountabilities:
• Create a motivating environment for employees that encourage employee engagement and supports Core Values.
• Maintain employee records including attendance, leave requests, and work assignments.
• Oversee employee orientation and training needs while ensuring that employees have the necessary skills, knowledge, information, and tools to do their jobs safely and effectively.
• Create a safety culture in the department to ensure safe working conditions for employees.
• Conducts safety inspections to ensure the safety of all employees.
• Models and enforces safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Initiates and continuously manages improvements to the manufacturing process.
• Fully engage the workforce and drive change by empowering employees with decision-making, fostering innovation, and promoting continuous learning.


Requirements
-Must have strong one-on-one and group communication skills, with demonstrated ability to adapt communication styles for increased effectiveness.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts and tools is desired.
Ability to effectively lead others, manage conflict, delegate tasks, and coach employees is a must.
Experience in Mills & Lathe Machining
Experience with either HaaS or Fanuc
Must have demonstrated work ethic and work habits that adhere to company policies.
Previous leadership experience is preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office or basic computer skills is preferred.
