Business and Financial Analyst

Job Overview: Our Cedar Rapids transportation client with a long-standing history, is seeking to add a new Business and Financial Analyst to their team. The Business and Financial Analyst will collect, process, and analyze data related to operational efficiency, sales strategy, and candidate sourcing. In this role, you will work closely with departments across the organization, delivering insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

This is a Direct Hire role.

• Analyze and identify patterns and trends within data, uncovering relationships between key data points.
• Integrate data from multiple sources into a unified format, highlighting interdepartmental overlaps or inefficiencies.
• Create and deliver data reports and visualizations to enable leadership to make informed decisions.
• Identify opportunities for automating data collection and reporting processes to enhance business operations.
• Transition between various data models and consolidate information into actionable insights.

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, logistics, accounting, or a related field (preferred)
• A minimum of 2 years in a similar data-focused role
• Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, or Python is advantageous
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
