Position Summary: The Business Analyst will be responsible for business consulting, project management, process design, and end-user solutions while serving as the subject matter expert for core business applications. This role will act as a liaison between users and developers, focusing on designing effective solutions, setting goals, and evaluating results to maximize IT investments.
This is a Direct Hire role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned product areas, understanding product features, user workflows, and business rationale.
- Oversee the daily performance of CRM programs and business processes, identifying functional gaps and proposing alternatives.
- Collaborate with technology teams, support teams, business units, and senior management to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Conduct gap analysis, write development specifications, and facilitate testing modifications alongside users and developers.
- Participate in business process discovery meetings to assess technology needs and document business processes for training and error-free operations.
- Organize employee training sessions and maintain reference documentation for audit purposes.
- Conduct regular regression testing for evergreen systems to ensure business process integrity.
- Stay informed on industry standards, trends, and best practices through professional networks.
- Prepare and present reports and recommendations to address existing and potential IT system challenges.
- Manage relationships with external software vendors and assist with application support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business implementation or CRM design and project planning.
- Experience with CRM systems configuration and requirements documentation.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies.
- Prior analyst experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective training and collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI is a plus.
- Capability to work across geographically distributed, cross-functional teams.
