Business Analyst
Key Responsibilities
Document Management
Assist in developing a structured repository to organize and manage cross-functional processes, including links to department-owned supporting procedures.
Ensure the document repository features an intuitive search function and logical hierarchy to enhance end-user experience.
Conduct an inventory of existing (as-is) process documents.
Establish a document baseline to support compliance initiatives and business growth objectives.
Process Flow Mapping
Collaborate with cross-functional team members to define process ownership, hand-offs/demarcation points, and key outputs using a swim lane mapping tool.
Interview stakeholders to gather diverse perspectives and identify potential challenges.
Utilize Lucidchart to document both current (as-is) and future (to-be) process flows.
Change Management
Identify impacted teams, system updates, ownership areas, and documentation needs associated with process changes and improvements.
Develop and deliver training materials, FAQs, and job aids as needed.
Issue change notifications to affected team members to ensure smooth transitions.
Skills and Requirements
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Process Engineering, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience working with multi-disciplinary teams to develop cross-functional process flows.
2+ years of experience in defining and managing large document repositories.
2+ years of experience within a company that leases and manages data centers.
Specific Skills/Abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build trust across all organizational levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex business and technical challenges effectively.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience with Lucidchart is preferred.
