The Role: As a Sales Executive focused on Agriculture, you will play a pivotal role in expanding and nurturing client relationships. We are seeking passionate and dynamic professionals with a "sky's the limit" mentality. The ideal candidate will take ownership of their career, demonstrating initiative and leadership. Effective communication skills, both with clients and colleagues, are crucial for success. This role specifically requires extensive experience in connecting with professionals in the Agriculture industry.
- Deepen relationships with existing clients and strategically acquire new ones
- Understand the clients technology environment and offer appropriate solutions
- Analyze and provide assessment and testing to uncover solutions
- Maintain timely, accurate records: update CRM, maintain business reports, and manage expense accounts
- Review products and solutions with technical consultants for effective sales closure
- Quote prices, credit terms, and prepare sales contracts
- Conduct annual client planning sessions to forecast projects and spending
- Coordinate client training and events
- Travel to and attend industry or client-relevant trade shows
- Robust and confident phone presence with professional presentation abilities
- Excellent problem-solving skills and proposal writing abilities
- Technology experience and proficiency in cold-calling, script development, and management
- Existing network of professional contacts in the Agriculture industry
- Knowledge of hardware, software, and IT services
