Accounting and Treasury Manager

Job Overview: Our Iowa City area client, is seeking to add a NEW Accounting and Treasury Manager to their team. Accounting and Treasury Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating activities ensuring an accurate accounts payable system, managing professional level accounting functions, and preparing reports, including earnings, profits/losses, cash balances, and cost accounting. To be successful in the role of Accounting and Treasury Manager, you must have strong accounting background, excellent leadership skills, and a high level attention to detail.

This is a Direct Hire role.

• Oversee cash flow, revenue, and overall finances
  
• Preparing financial statements
• Manages overall controlling related to business
  
• Integrates financial statements quarterly
  
• Manages SAP system regarding payroll and general reporting
  
• Assesses and monitors expenses 
  
• Assesses bank records and bank activities
• Oversees daily operations of accounting department
• Fiscal reporting
• Develop and implement policies, principles and methods for the department
• Oversees Month and Year end processes
• Oversees Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Oversees General Ledger
• Oversees Payroll and Utilities
• Manages budgeting, forecasting, revenue and expenditure variances.
• Manages capital asset and trust account reconciliations
• Oversees Fixed asset and debt activity 

• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance required
  
• CPA strongly preferred
• MBA strongly preferred
  
• SAP experience required
• PMP is a plus
  
• 8-10 years of finance experience
  
• Working experience in Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Forecasting
• Familiar with cash management and banking system/processes
• Proficient in MS Office, and accounting software
