Position: Senior Software Engineer - Autonomy DevSecOps

?? Role Spotlight: As the newest member of our Mission Systems Engineering Autonomy & Mission Engineering Solutions (AMES) squad, you'll be at the heart of pioneering unmanned systems. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, involves injecting your passion for innovation into developing next-gen technologies for systems solutions. You'll play a pivotal role in evolving our DSO pipeline for RapidEdge™, integrating breakthrough tech into our Mission Systems, and steering the course of autonomous and unmanned markets.

?? Team Dynamics: You'll collaborate within a diverse, distributed team of top-notch professionals, where your solo and team-player skills both shine. Occasional travel might be on the cards (up to 10%), but it's all part of the adventure!

?? Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent experience (5+ years), or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience. No degree? No problem - 9 years of relevant experience works too!
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a US DoD security clearance.
  • DevSecOps mastery and software/subsystem integration know-how.
  • A knack for managing costs, schedules, and risks.
  • Stellar communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivation and analytical prowess.

?? Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with tools like Gitlab CI, Visual Studio, CMake.
  • R&D prowess and delivering new tech to clients.
  • Knowledge of DoD architecture and protocols.
  • Networking troubleshooting skills, virtualization, and simulation expertise.
  • Familiarity with UAS systems, autonomy algorithms, or sensor technologies.
