I & E Technician
This is a Contract To Hire role to start out on a night shift schedule with training on 1st shift for the first two weeks. OT hours can be expected some weeks working 12 hours shifts for a 3 day on - 2 off, 2 day on - 3 off schedule. As an Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician, you will be a member of a high-performance work team. E&I Technicians are responsible for enabling production throughput, reducing equipment downtime, eliminating defects, and building technical mastery. They focus on initiating and implementing continuous improvement projects with the goal of delivering the best product, at the lowest cost, with the highest quality, and in a safe environment. E&I Technicians are expected to have electrical technical mastery in order to successfully troubleshoot problems and to proactively improve production systems.
E&I Technicians perform various types of work, such as:
- Maintaining and troubleshooting high-speed packing, making, and facilities power & controls equipment
- Using electrical test equipment to diagnose electrical problems from 480 - 600v
- Performing preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment
- Troubleshooting, monitoring, & programming PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems
- Troubleshooting and monitoring variable frequency drives, servo control systems, robotics
- Troubleshooting and repairing machine and process control equipment
- Have ownership of systems/equipment
Individuals with an electrical-based AAS (Associates of Applied Science) degree, a Journeyman's License, or equivalent apprenticeship electrical work experience should apply.
In addition, we are seeking individuals with good interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills. All applicants must be willing to work off-shifts and pass a background and drug screen.
