Senior Manager

Job Overview: Our client located in Cedar Falls, IA is seeking to add a new Senior Manager to their team. The General Service Principal is responsible for providing accounting, tax, and consulting expertise, maintaining and expanding the client base while generating new business opportunities. 

This is a Direct Hire role.

• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery and addressing any issues promptly.
• Actively cross-sell services to current clients and generate new business opportunities for the firm.
  Oversee day-to-day operations of the Cedar Falls office.
• Motivate and lead a high-performance management team; attract, recruit, and retain essential team members; and provide mentoring as a cornerstone of the management career development program.
• Conduct firm-wide business development to recruit high-value clients.
• Network with local community leaders to promote firm resources.
• Develop tax planning expertise to maximize clients' deductions.
• Perform complex financial statement analysis, including general ledger account reconciliations.
• Review year-end financial statements and tax plans.
• Conduct individual tax interviews and review completed tax returns.
• Advise staff on handling non-routine reporting transactions.
• Review tax computations for 1120, 1120S, and 1065 forms and completed returns.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes.
• Continuously work toward quality improvement.
• Stay current with changing technologies, including software programs.
• Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Eight or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CPA license or other applicable certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
